2018 Event Safety Alliance summit will feature an expanded program of speakers, demonstrations and training to address a growing array of live event safety risks.
LAGUNA HILLS, CALIFORNIA, March 26, 2018 — Leading entertainment industry insurance solutions provider Take1 Insurance today announced that it will serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2018 Event Safety Alliance Summit. The three-day summit will take place November 28 to November 30, 2018 at Rock Lititz in Lititz, Pennsylvania.
“The 2018 Event Safety Summit will mark the fifth time that the live event industry meets to discuss how to produce safer live events of every type,” Take1 Insurance Executive Vice President & Program Director Scott Carroll said today. “Take1 has taken an active role in this event since its inaugural year but in 2018, with all of the challenges we face, we are stepping up our commitment to the alliance and to the summit through this Presenting Sponsorship. We look forward to working with Jim Digby and his team in producing the most engaging and compelling safety summit the world has ever seen.”
According to Event Safety Alliance Chairman and President Jim Digby the theme of the 2018 Event Safety Summit will be “Designing for Safety: Planning, Creativity, and the Art of Problem Solving”, reflecting the nature of the times the live event production industry operates in. “The threats to the safety of live events have never been greater or more varied in nature and our need to train for all eventualities is therefore greater as well. With the support of Take1 Insurance we will be empowered to stage a summit that offers more presenters, workshops and safety demonstrations. Scott and his team have been with the Event Safety Alliance from the beginning and we look forward to strengthening our relationship in 2018 and the ensuing years.”
First held in 2014, the annual Event Safety Summit has grown in relevance and attendance in each subsequent year. “With the support of Take1 Insurance and our other sponsor partners we hope to make the 2018 Event Safety Summit the most successful one yet,” Digby said. To that end, Take1 will commit a considerable portion of its 2018 marketing program focused on promoting the Event Safety Summit through traditional and digital communications outreach to the live event community.
Details on the 2018 Event Safety Summit program will be announced as they develop. Please visit the Event Safety Alliance website at http://eventsafetyalliance.org for additional information.
